Of course being involved with the Philadelphia Foundation does not need to stop by giving funds or materials.
Since August 2006 there were 5 volunteers / interns involved with the Foundation.
They organized activities at the primary schools, did go on home visits (accompanied by an interpreter), trained pre-school teachers, helped with the organization of courses and workshops for children and their (foster) parents, organized sports activities in the Villages and on the premises of the Foundation, Camp Ndurukoro, and much more.
Also, some of them are still actively involved in our work in their home countries.
Anyone interested in doing an internship on social and agricultural / permaculture subjects, or being a volunteers who can give a helping hand for a period of at least 5 months can write us.
